Custom Audiences (Facebook Ads) – Mautic 3 plugin

The plugin is a FB – Ads integration, which with a FB application of ours is able to create, delete, update its members of ‘Custom Audienc’-es of a FB ad account based on the segments of our Mautic contacts.

For its usage we need:

1. A Mautic with our contacts and its segments.
2. A FB ad account, where as the result of the solution we can manage the appearing ‘Custom Audience’-es, and where we would like to start adverts to them.
3. A FB application to be able to use for the solution, what will draw the data between Mautic and the FB ad account (for it there is no need any real development, the requirement is just a short administrative process).
4. At last but not least one FB service-account – as a virtual/technical user – to manage the operations of the application with the proper rights (we can create/manage it on the FB business manager).

As a result of the solution we can reach our Mautic contacts through Facebook – Ads where we can start campaigns for them.

(The plugin was originally developed by Raymond Muilwijk and was sponsored by Trinoco for the Qeado project. Without his fantastic work the project couldn’t be available. The abandoned project was forked and embraced by LeadEngine/ReachMedia Ltd. for further structured developments and maintenance. The project keeps its original GPL3 license, therefore the project is freely used and developed (source). The new maintainer just tries to manage the processes.)
